The USA Powerlifting Atlanta Winter Smash (#GA-2018-, #GA-2017-10) has been rescheduled for Saturday, January 20th at CrossFit Atlanta (200 Permalume Place NW Atlanta, GA 30318).
Registration is now re-opened for a limited number of competitors. Cost to compete is $85. Late fee kicks in Jan 1.

This event is for 1st-time and experienced competitors who want to set new personal records in the squat, bench, and deadlift.
State records can be set at this event.
10% of meet competitors WILL be drug tested.

One session, all lifters:
-6:30-7a: Lifter check-in
-6:30-7a: Equipment Check/Rack Heights
-7-8:30a: Weigh-ins
-8:30a: Lifter Rules Briefing
-9a-3p: Lifting
Awards presentation will immediately follow lifting.
Spectator admission: $10 donation
100% of spectator fees will be donated to the Southern Poverty Law Center. A minimum of 25% of other meet proceeds (100% of profits after event costs are covered) will also be donated.
The Southern Poverty Law Center is dedicated to fighting hate and bigotry and to seeking justice for the most vulnerable members of our society. Using litigation, education, and other forms of advocacy, the SPLC works toward the day when the ideals of equal justice and equal opportunity will be a reality.
This event is for raw and equipped lifters.
There will be 6 divisions: Novice, Youth, Teen, Juniors, Open and Masters (40+). Awards will be given for top 3 lifters in each division and weight class. Awards will also be given for best male lifter and best female lifter in the Novice, Open and Masters divisions.
