The Atlanta Women’s Barbell Club was founded in 2016, when we began meeting once a week to train together.
We are grateful to Citadel Nutrition, CrossFit Downtown Atlanta, AK CrossFit and the Elmore family for hosting our training sessions over the past two years.
AND NOW WE’RE EXPANDING OUR TRAINING DAYS!
Join us for an 8-week Fall Training Camp, beginning the week of October 21st.
Camp includes:
-8 weeks of programming
-14 training sessions
-The Winter Smash – a mock powerlifting meet at the conclusion of camp
-An exclusive Fall 2018 Camp t-shirt, and
-A club social at the halfway point
Fall Camp is limited to 12 female-identifying or non-binary lifters.
Libbie G participated in the Spring 2018 Training Camp and had this to say:
“Not only did Lis teach me how to get stronger, she taught me the hows and whys of everything I needed to know to safely get PRs on all of my lifts.
I’m a 51-year old with chronic health conditions and now I’m getting PRs at every meet.”
