The inaugural USA Powerlifting Atlanta Women’s Open was a huge success!
Forty-eight women, ages 12 to 70, took the platform last weekend to compete at the squat, bench press and deadlift. Several state records were broken, many women qualified for Raw Nationals, and everyone had an amazing day on the platform.

The event was made possible by 25 volunteers who donated their time as the event referees, spotters & loaders, scoring table, registration, door, set up & breakdown crews.
If you are new to the sport, or interested in getting involved, I highly recommend you volunteer at an upcoming event. The USAPL Georgia volunteer staff is made up of some of the best people you will ever know!
